Power To Make Order To Correct Minor Errors
(1) If it is required
to correct minor errors in a charge sheet of a case filed in the court,
the concerned government attorney may make a petition,
accompanied by the reason therefor, to the concerned District Court.
(2) If, upon examination of the petition made pursuant to
sub-section (1), it appears reasonable to correct the errors, the court
may make order for the correction of such errors.
Explanation: For the purposes of this Section, the term
'minor errors' means any typo, typing or printing related errors in
the name, surname, age or address of the accused.
